2008 Season Concerts

Convivium opens this season with new Music Director Michael Barrett, as well as resurrecting a past venue in the Cambridge Friends Meeting House. Hear Convivium perform some of the most beautiful, stunning music ever composed in a variety of venues spread throughout eastern and central Massachusetts. Convivium Musicum presents a concert of works by Josquin, Lassus, and other Franco-Flemish composers employed in the courts and chapels of Italy in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, exploring the lasting influence of this southern migration of musical talent.
